Going with a high contrast look, the sneaker features a Black nubuck upper with Fuchsia Force and Flash Lime accents. Nike and Jordan have officially unveiled their massive “Black History Month” (“BHM”) collection. The collection features over 28 pieces ranging from the Nike LeBron 12, to the Nike KD7, to the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, to the Nike Kyrie 1, to the Air Jordan XX9, and much more. The collection honors Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer, and John Thompson for their contributions to Black History. The Air Jordan XX9 has been quiet as of late as Jordan had shifted their focus to the Jordan Melo 11 last month but the sneaker is set to return this weekend in a classic colorway. Going back to the palette that defined the Air Jordan line, the Air Jordan XX9 “Black/Gym Red” features the classic “Bred” Chicago Bulls inspired colorway of Black throughout the upper with a wave pattern, White accents, and a Gym Red trim.
