I remember when these first came out back in the day and no one wanted these, couldn't even give them away. How times have changed...
Well Mr T., I don't know where you're from or where you live[d], but here, even in NC, these were hard to come by and sold out EVERYWHERE! So to say NO ONE wanted them? Wow, where did you grow up? --- But I've been waiting on these since the 6th grade. A DEFINITE MUST! Not sure if I'll be able to get the two packs I've been wanting to get though.
I just wish that Jordan Brand would release AT LEAST a few Retro & LS's with the "Nike Air" on the heels. OH... MY... DAMN! if they ever did! *tear*

The only problem i got with the carmines is that JB is coming out with the Olympic Jordan 6's which has a red colored base, and from a distance they kinda look like the carmines and it upsets me. They should have retroed the september blues or the infrareds to go with the countdown packs. But dont get me wrong the carmines are sickk, but i think they should NEVER thought about coming out with the carmines if they were going to release the olympic 6's. what ya'll think about that?
Mr.T i agree with you. I was the 1st one in school with them in 91.' Dudes were like those are ugly. I had them 2 weeks b4 the release date. And when they released everyone had a pair. I was like I thought they were ugly. Dudes reply "my moms copped them for me." And its sad how all of these young ppl are beasting about them. Like they really know about them back then. They weren't even walking yet.
I feel you "sneakerfather"! I had them back in the day before they released (The FootLocker hookup) along with the "dope boys" who get all the sneakers first but these were the heat back then and will be the heat this summer! I do see some folks gettin they heads busted for these but that's a risk you take to rock your J's..

I remember I was in 5th or 5th grade when these came out after I had already had my black/red pair (which were all leather) and this dude in the 8th grade had them and I thought they were horrible. The color scheme didn't make since to me then and they seemed more burgundy than red which bothered me.
All that said, they are copped come the 24th. Times have changed.
