Since the 1980s, Adidas has been firmly ingrained into Hip-Hop music and Hip-Hop culture. Going as far back as Run DMC’s “My Adidas” tribute up to Lil Wayne’s modern day “I got stripes/A-DI-DAS” line from “Swagger Like Us”, Adidas and Hip-Hop have gone together for decades. To pay tribute to Hip-Hop, Adidas has created the 4 Elements of Hip-Hop collection of sneakers and apparel. The Adidas 4 Elements of Hip-Hop collection pays tribute to the four cornerstones of Hip-Hop the MC, the B-Boy, the DJ, and the art of Graffiti.
Last month Adidas released the MC Adidas Forum Low, this month Adidas continues the tribue with the B-Boy Adidas Decade Hi. The B-Boy Adidas Decade Hi draws inspiration from the cardboard boxes that B-Boys lay on the ground to get busy on. The light brown leather upper features a card board print and the tongue features a hit of Maroon.
The B-Boy Adidas Decade Hi is available now at select Adidas accounts.
