I will skip the long introductions that I have written in the past. This post is a Jordan Heads MUST SEE. PERIOD.

I won’t completely skip the intro. By now everyone should know how I feel about Flight Club, if not, click Here and Here for my past trips. Also, I do have to mention this because I have never mentioned it before and I recently realized that this isn’t common knowledge.

Flight Club is a consignment shop. They take YOUR sneakers, new and used, and sell them for you both in the shop and online. They DO NOT have accounts with any sneaker companies. For this reason, you will see kix in the store that you will most likely not see anywhere else. This also means that lining up outside the store before open on release dates is futile, you must wait until someone has brought in the pair of kix that you are looking for. I say this because even Flight Club had a line outside this past Saturday…..

If you would like to visit Flight Club for yourself here is a MAP.

And now what you have all been waiting for of course…..

As always, I walked into Flight Club and went straight to the display case. Lo and behold…..

Start them early, they will thank you for it later. “Fire Red” Vs for the young ones.

These baby kix can only mean one thing, the Fire Red Vs that are due out in December will in fact be a General Release. As Jordan Heads already know, Jordan Brand only makes baby kix for General Release kix.

Oh and before I forget, these things were there to….

Yes I held them in my hand and the euphoria was undeniable. The “Mars” IVs have plastic wings and a plastic pull tab. I was speechless….

Plastic pull tabs….A thing of beauty…

For those that do not know, the “Mars” IV was designed to commemorate Spike Lee’s character Mars Blackmon. Mars was a staple character within the early years of the Jordan Line, appearing in several Spike Lee directed commercials. I am sure many of us also remember the movie that helped to put the Jordan IV on the map, “Do the Right Thing“, which was of course, A Spike Lee Joint. Thank you Spike.

Here is a nice Fire Red group shot.

And remember….

Shout out to EVERYONE over at FC, until the next time.

Also remember to check out the Jordan Release Date Section for frequently updated and up to date Jordan Brand Release Info.
