Over the past two years, the Air Jordan VII has returned, in its Retro form, to a stronger and renewed popularity. With OG colorways such as the “Cardinals”, “Olympics”, and “Raptors” already retroed, one might think that Jordan Brand would stop there and fall two very important colorways short. Although there are some whispers that both will make a return in ’07, only time will tell if these two colorways will indeed be retroed. Until that time, we can all enjoy pix of the OGs at FC.
More after the Jump
The Air Jordan VII originally made its debut in 1991 in the form of a monumental cross-over partnership between Nike and Warner Bros. Entitled the “Hare Jordan” campaign, MJ and Bugs Bunny, and other WB characters, came together to create ads and merchandise to celebrate the release of the Air Jordan VII. Two original colorways of the Air Jordan VII, that have yet to be retroed, are in the display case at NYC’s Flight Club; the Air Jordan VII “Hare” and the Air Jordan VII “Bordeaux”.
