This past weekend was huge for Nike Inc. In addition to taking over New York City and the Basketball world with the World Basketball Festival, Nike opened up their all new Nike Store at Roosevelt Field in Long Island. Only the second of its kind in the USA, the other location is in Santa Monica, California, the Nike Store at Roosevelt Field is a 3000+ square foot retail experience. Nike at Roosevelt Field features a very innovative product mix that you are unlikely to find anywhere else. This product mix includes pinnacle performance footwear and apparel for Men and Women across several sport categories including Training, Basketball/Jordan, Soccer, Running and more, and, Sportswear footwear and apparel including retro Air Jordans, Air Maxes, Air Force 1s, and Dunks, and, limited edition releases. I was told that the store will continue carry a lot of what you are looking for when it comes to limited releases.
The huge store is comprised of product blocks that feature pieces from a specific category or brand i.e. the Training block features all training footwear and apparel, the Jordan block features all Jordan Brand an apparel, etc. In addition to the product blocks, there is a full service expansive NIKEiD space in the middle of the store. The NIKEiD space offers a wide array of customizable footwear and apparel and also offers team customization options and iD exclusives.
Nike at Roosevelt Field is open now on the top floor of the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, Long Island.
