For the second year in a row, Carmelo Anthony will don his own Jordan Brand signature for the NBA Season. Following up on the critically acclaimed M3, Jordan Brand is set to release Jordan Melo M4.
The Jordan Melo M4 answers Anthony’s number 1 request in his signature sneaker, ankle support. Each Melo M4 comes with a removable neoprene ankle brace in the colorway of the sneaker. In addition to the ankle brace, and in an ode to Anthony’s Baltimore roots where the Nike Foamposite is a legend, the ankle on the M4 features a ankle/achillies contouring Foam technology. The “Eggplant” Melo M4 pictured in this post serves as an ode to the classic “Eggplant” Flightposite with its Eggplant Foam and accents, as well as, a tribute to Melo’s younger ballin’ days in B’more with the map of Baltimore and the names of several important locations emblazoned on the foam. In addition to the Eggplant foam, the “Eggplant” M4s feature a Black nubuck upper with eggplant contrast stitching.
The “Eggplant” Jordan Melo M4 is set to release on 11/23 and was initially planned to release as a Baltimore exclusive (this can change at any time).
