An In Depth Look at the Upcoming Christmas Game Converse WADE 3
Dec 16, 2007 | Comments 2 |

In a tradition that began with Michael Jordan's Air Jordan line, NBA players are known to wear/reveal special editions of their signature sneakers dedicated to/related to special games on the NBA schedule. A tradition that is most closely associated with the All-Star game, has extended itself to include the Play-offs, opening day, and even games played in specific cities, i.e. the "NYC" LeBron's. This year, Dwyane Wade and Converse are set to extend this tradition to Christmas with their "Christmas Game" Converse WADE 3. Inspired by bright Christmas lights and Christmas cheer, the "Christmas Game" Converse WADE 3 features a Black Nubuck/Lime Nubuck Green upper with shimmering Metallic Christmas light like circles on the bottom half of the upper. When looking directly at the sneaker, the circles appear to light up in Silver but as the sneaker is turned, the circles appear to light up in Greens and Reds and Purples. Like all of the WADE 3's, the "Christmas Games" feature the WADE 3 lace hiding tongue with Wade's logo, the Converse One Star on the outer lateral heel, and the 33 Triangle design.
Dwyane Wade is set to wear a PE version of the "Christmas Game" WADE 3 on Christmas Day as Miami Heat take on the Cavs in Cleveland.
The "Christmas Game" Converse WADE 3 is scheduled to release at select large chain retailers in limited amounts later this month.
