An In Depth Look at the Recently Released Nike Dunk Low Jordan IX

Following up on last month's Jordan VIII Dunk Low, Nike recently released their Jordan IX Dunk Low from their ongoing "JorDunk" Series. The Nike Dunk Low "Jordan IXs" featurea a Patent Black Toe Cap/Eyelets, a White Upper, and Red accents. The Nike Dunk Low "Jordan IXs" are available now at the same accounts that have carried the series throughout.

these are fire.. first "jordunks" that I like.. the patent leather and SB laces totally set it off. might have to cop a pair =)

They are more related to the XI (11's) then the IX (9's) in my opinion.

i dont see any influence from the IXs at all. And these aren't crackin
i don't see how this is supposed to be inspired by the jordan 9. the ix never had patent and that waffle-iron like pattern on the wings of the dunks don't appear on it either. the only shiny part on the ix was the midsole (and that was on the retro). i have to agree with younghovaj, these look more like the xi (11) than the ix (9). but it really doesn't matter because i don't like dunks--but that's just me. now if they made an af1 version of the jordan series like the sweet chi mcbride/mark smith version af1/jordan iii then that would be a different story...

Might cop, but there bascially the patent purple bankers without the stripes. But for $90 why not?

They relate to the 9s cuz they use the same emboss/deboss pattern on the heel counter as the AJ9 does on the quarter. Patent was used on a couple of the retro AJ9s that I can remember, but at least it looks good on the Dunk.
