May 20, 2007 | Comments 6

In their continuing effort to resurrect the early '90s classic Gel Lyte III, Asics recently linked up with NYC's David Z footwear retail chain to create three David Z exclusive GLIII colorways. The first of the colorways, a mix of Pink/Red/Blue/Black/Metallic Gold on a Suede/Mesh upper, hit David Z shelves yesterday with an accompanying David Z x Asics T-Shirt (free with purchase). 252 pairs of each of the three colorways, the other 2 colorways are set to release on July 1st, were created. 202 of the first pair of DZ x Asics GLIIIs are available now at David Z NYC. 50 pairs will be made available to those outside of NYC on DavidZ.com this Tuesday the 22nd.

$90 AND a shirt? Good *** deal.
i copped my pair already
These are great, but the ones that come after these are to die for...literally
These are sooo official! Where can i cop ?
I hate not having a lot of the "Mom & Pop" type sneaker shops in my area and QS, SB, Tier-0 etc accounts... it's starting to really get wack. And I hate depending on franchises to get heat when they never do or will. Good thing there's online shopping, but damn, I'm starting to hate ordering online. You take what you can get though.
hotness..copped my pair, n good thing too, size 11 sold out online.
