After a six year hiatus, the Air Jordan V is set to make its return in 2006 and continue through 2007. One of the more coveted models in the Air Jordan lineage, the Air Jordan V will release in a number of colors. During KATC’s latest trip to FCNY, two of this year’s Air Jordan V releases had already hit the shelves.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1990, the Air Jordan V was the first Air Jordan sneaker to officially release with the legendary “ice sole”. In addition, the Jordan V was also the first Air Jordan to sport 3M, in this case, on the reflective tongue. First retroed in 2000, several Air Jordan Vs are set to release this year [See: Jordan Release Dates 2006/2007] including the Men’s White/Sport Royal V’s and the WMNS Silver/Pink V’s pictured below.
