Yesterday marked the grand opening of Nike’s recently relocated NIKEiD studio. Previously hidden in SoHo on 255 Elizabeth St., the new studio has been moved to the center of New York City at 6 E 57th St [MAP] on the 5th floor of Nike’s Flagship store, NikeTown NYC. With the new location, comes several changes to NIKEiD. Most importantly, the NIKEiD Studio is now open to the public. Although you will still need an appointment in order to iD a pair of kix, anyone can apply for an appointment. Unlike the old 255 NIKEiD studio, you do not need to be invited or referred in order to “Create Your Own”, all you need to do is schedule a time to sit down with a Design Consultant. There are several ways to schedule an appointment, you can go to the NIKEiD Studio and sign up, you can call (212) 891-6454 Mon. through Fri. between 10am and 7pm, or, you can schedule an appointment online at [NIKEiD.com].
To celebrate the grand opening of the NIKEiD Studio at NTNY, NIKEiD has added the Nike Air Max BW to the iD roster. The BW along with the Dunk Low, Dunk High, Air Max 90, Air Max 97, Air Max 95, and several other styles, offer a large number of color options, material options, and personalization options. The studio itself, features four design stations and several walls and displays filled with iD inspiration.
KATC attended the the grand opening event yesterday, an event that featured the likes of DJ Clark Kent, David Wright of the New York Mets, Corbin Bleu of High School Musical, and several other celebrities and local sneaker aficionados, to snap several pictures of the new studio at NTNY.
