Although information is still slowly trickling in, the Air Jordan XXIIs pictured above are said to be samples of a scheduled February release. The Air Jordan XXII “Basketballs” feature an upper of Basketball leather with MJs signature and the words “Official Game Shoe” on the heel. When we receive more info, it will be posted.

    yea ok, all yall need is to see MJ rocking them in @ basketball camp/charity game or a commerical and its a wrap.

    imho, i think it looks rather unique. air jordans were never about being part of the crowd--getting reactions positive or negative is what design is all about. the concept of using basketball material on an "official basketball shoe" i think is great. i agree with sneakerpimp too--again imho, if people see mj rocking these at a basketball camp/charity game, these same detractors will probably be first in line.

    anyway, to each his own. peace!

    i wonder though if the aj XXII "basketballs" will be of the same heat-reactive material or is that only for the first release white ones? are the black ones also going to be heat-reactive?

    Member guys they said they change color onto heat maybe the heat will bring a fresh colorway? Still imo their unique and i kind of like em.
