Though we don't know how the [delay in the release of the Rising Sun Air Jordan XII] will effect Jordan Brand's major releases for the rest of the year, we'll take a look at what we should expect in the final retail version of the Flu Game Air Jordan Retro XII. Inspired by Michael Jordan's legendary "Flu Game", Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals when MJ had 38 points, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block in a two point win over the Utah Jazz, the Flu Game Air Jordan Retro XII is a new take on the classic Black/Red Air Jordan Retro XII that he wore in the Flu Game.
The Flu Game Air Jordan Retro XII features a Black nubuck, as opposed to the leather on the OG, and Red upper. Like the OG the upper sits on a Red midsole and Red outsole. In a nod back to MJ's heroics in the Flu Game, the Flu Game XII features an embroidered "sick face" on the tongue and a lasered "sick face" with the year and MJ's point total on the heel.
The Flu Game Air Jordan Retro XII was originally set to release on Black Friday, 11/27. As of now that hasn't changed. If anything does change, it will be posted.

We I heard about the drop, I was really anticipating on buying. Now that I saw the actually suede. I'll pass on buying.
I have mixed feeling on these. I'll have to see them in person and then I'll decide if I'm getting them. They look OK and I did buy a pair of the university blue nubucks so I'll wait and see. But there's no doubt in my mind about the White/Varsity Red colorway I'm getting two pairs of those. Hopefully my brother will come through on Space Jams for a Christmas gift.

I'm really happy to see a lot of you guys disappointed in these, know why?
Just means they won't be sold out when I take my time and enter a footlocker to buy them, plus they'll have my size and I won't have to settle for less.

i had two pairs of these since august and rmkstore has them up to a size 12 for 189 and about 30 to ship
and leather cracks so thats why they switched and for idiots who buy retros and get shammed thinking they are og; its all for buyer confidence. anyone with the ogs and they dropped in 96-97 knows that leather cracks after a while so be greatful
The suede on these swayed me into going another direction: away from these! JB really knows how to lose fans and loyal customers. SMH
the suede is soooooo much better than the leather. they will never crease. i will definetly have these
