The Doernbecher Air Jordan Retro VI designed by Jordan Dark, a patient at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, is available now on [NikeTown.com]
Scheduled to drop in November in limited fashion at select retail accounts, [NikeTown.com] has the jump on the situation with a FSR available now for the retail $165.
A partnership between Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Nike, Doernbecher Freestyle are Nike shoes designed by kids being treated for life-threatening conditions. Each design expresses personal messages about their life, experiences and hopes for the future. An empowering creative opportunity, it also helps to raise funds for the hospital. From Mount Angel, Oregon, Jordan Dark is a 13-year-old with a serious devotion to football, remote control cars and the other Jordan, as in Michael. His ultra-collectible Air Jordan 6 Retro Shoe incorporates elements from previous Air Jordan releases. While the colors are a shout-out to his high school, the embossed shock waves represent his love for music.
