Air Jordan Retro IV Black Cement from the Upcoming Air Jordan 4 19 Countdown Pack

Following up on this month's Air Jordan 6/17 Countdown Pack and next month's Air Jordan 7/18 Countdown Pack, Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 4/19 Countdown Pack. As part of the 4/19 Pack, the Air Jordan Retro IV in Black/Cement is set to make it's first return since 1999. Like the classic OG Black/Cement Air Jordan IV, the Countdown Black/Cement Air Jordan Retro IV features a Black Nubuck upper sitting on a Cement Grey/Red midsole. As expected, the Countdown version of the Black/Cement Air Jordan Retro IV has been altered a bit from the OG.
The "Black/Cement" Countdown Air Jordan Retro IV is set to release on July 19th.

I so miss the "Nike Air" it's not even funny.
But for what it's worth, I NEVER got these, they're grail status colorway alone; still gonna try to find a pair of black/cement's from first retro release of these (higher grail status)- and I sort of wish this CDP would've dropped the white/cement IV's. We've had these released before, but I'll take them since I missed out back then.
Hearing about this brought a tear to my eye, I havent shed on since Musafa died in Lion King. These sneakers are beautiful and I will definitly be getting these and donating the 19 to charity.
Wat a come back... the 19.... I will throw away /or use it for scrap metal

It's so empty in the back. If only they would have put and "AIR" under the jumpman to fill things up a bit. Oh well, I dealt with the jumpman only on the Cool Grey IV's, and I'll probably end up getting this pack and dealing with it on the Black Cement's as well.
that trash is certifiable(sp?)...now you get to pay about $160 for IV's if you split.

These are FIRE!!!! but I don't like the fact that they look exactly like the knock-off black cements look. I see niggas rocking these already everyday. Even though they fake...I'm just saying. It's just the principal. I wish there could still be a NIKE air on the back.!!!

Well, dunk-aholic, in my defense and a few others, who'd probably call themselves "Jordan Enthusiasts"... we'll ALWAYS like & want to see the "Nike Air" on ANY Jordan that's from #'s 1-6, rather than a Jumpman logo with/without "Air" it's a given, especially if you grew up in that era (which I did). A shoe like the Carmine's will ALWAYS be drool worthy, "Nike Air" on the heels or not. Same with the B/Cement, W/Cement and True Blue III's Grape V, Mars & Military IV... pretty much ALL the classics.
And rod, you act like this is the first time the b/red IV is returning... LOL @ "be happy." I'd rather much (like I said before) liked to have seen the w/cement IV's retroed before these, since they dropped these back in '99, but I'm not complaining though (I'm satisfied with the colorway alone). Same with the Carmine's over the Infared... we've had those before (although I missed out then as well). You can get a great pair of these, DS, from eBay, so it's not like we're really missing out (so to speak) if they didn't drop these.

dunk-aholic: And with that, I do agree! I've seen people complain about the materials used, etc., etc., and I've never taken it that far. Many of them SHOULDN'T either, because we all know it's not easy to recreate a sneaker from 1989 in 2008 with the exact same materials, true to the T designs and comfort, it just won't happen. I just REALLY MISS that one feature on my favorite kicks, but I don't complain about it like most do and decide "I'm not buying these, they look fake" -- I love my J's and these will get purchased as well as the 99's (if I can find a pair in my size -- 10.5/11)
poloplaya, it's called NOSTALGIA! Imagine a Jordan sneaker, with NO JUMPMAN LOGO, replaced with a "23" or something. Wouldn't you feel as though, aside from the colorway, it's missing something? Not to take away from the IV's, they're my Top 3 Jordan shoe of all time... but when I see these, they don't give me the same vibe they did when I was younger, looking at them. I love the fact that the b/red's are returning, so I don't want to people to confuse me with those who don't care for them, but I just can't change the way I feel about the fact there's no longer a "Nike Air" on the heels or no "Nike" on the soles of ANY Jordan, 1-6.

Nike Air on the heel is reserved for Original J's, thus the difference between RETRO and VINTAGE
