Air Jordan Retro 1 KO (AJKO) White Black Red 2010 Release

Historically, the Air Jordan 1 KO, or the AJKO for short, is one of those mythical Air Jordans that you may have seen in alias pics floating around the Net, heard all the stories and conspiracy theories, but still were never really sure if they truly existed or why they existed. In 2010 though, Jordan Brand is set to make the legend of the AJKO a whole lot clearer by actually releasing the sneaker. The Air Jordan Retro 1 KO Retro brings together all of the murky memories of the AJKO with it's canvas White, Black, and Red upper and the classic Flight AJKO logo on the ankle. The AJKO Retro, like every picture of the AJKO that you've likely seen, is vintaged and features a slightly yellowed upper and yellowed midsole. The yellowed midsole sits on a Red outsole.
The Air Jordan Retro 1 KO, or the AJKO, is set to release during the Fall of 2010.

PERFECT!!.....ALTHOUGH most would agree they SHOULDN'T "retro" these being they're ONE OF, IF NOT, THE MOST RARE JORDAN EVER.....
i wanntted these.butt seeing now they pre yellowed it i dont want them anymore.ill just get them to putt down

If anybody has been following nike orange vintage box releases lately, for the last two years their cortez, dunks, vandals, tennis classics, killshots etc. all got the vintage "yellowing" treatment. Air jordan brand intends to do the same with their AJKO. As for a rustic aesthetic I take it that Jordan Brand is being very creative in setting that 25 year old aged sneaker kinda look. Personally, I like that vintage wear on my jordans, and having it released in such a way makes me want these even more.
I'm not feeling the vintage look. Make 'em new, they'll get vintage in due time.

You can never and will never lose in this colourway...a definite cop and TWO pairs for me!!! And one pair of the Alpha's in this colourway too so I can ball in'm.

maybe they look a touch better if you **** them up by wearing, but that would be kind of rocker look... so yeah you people right, these vintag look is grossssss
I always liked the mystique behind these but I couldnt rock them at all. Good try JB. A decent effort to dig themselves out of the grave, but they still got about 5'10" more to go.
i was excited. then i seen the pre-yellow JB finds many ways to disappoint few ways to impress.

Exactly. The idea was based on the fact that the shoe used soft material unlike the other AJ1's in 1985...hence its reminiscent of boxing shoes!
Exactly like korea ken said jb plans to due exactly what nike has been doing in the past 2 years with the yellowed mid sole just like some of the low jordan dunks were. If you ask me its trash but yet very creative . . . The vintage look makes us feel like we lived part of the 84 decade . . .

i think theres a way to get the yellowing off.but i think its risky.try using nail polish remover.i used it before on some of my meanist scuffs
It does work indeed...so does diluted window cleaner, but like you said it could seriously damage the midsole so I'd avoid it in this case you know....You think Jason Maark would do it? lol apparently it works on everything!
It's just like buying a pair of faded jean, or a retro leather jacket. It's a style. I'm an older cat so I unstand the vintage look. It's cool to me. I guess the kids are not feeling it. maybe that's the point. Maybe these are just for us-the old heads.
Dope. Love the concept. Not my style, def won't cop, but seenin these put a smile on my face.

that "vintage" stuff on them is a peel (like a rubbery paint-like),if it's the same stuff on the vintage dunks, after enough wears it starts to come off

If Michael Jordan takes a piss on the soles and there is a verification of this by upper deck will they be worth more for the resellers ?
