Air Jordan Retro 1 Infrared

A new pic of the upcoming Infrared Air Jordan Retro 1 recently hit the Net. Scheduled to release in 2009, the Infrared Air Jordan Retro 1 takes a new approach to the Black/Red Air Jordan 1 by replacing the Red with the Infrared color from the Air Jordan VI. All of the Infrared panels are done in Patent leather and the Black panels are done in Black leather.

looks like a dunk. These are 1s, not dunks. And yes, before any of you smart guys tells me that the shape is very similar due to the proximity of their original release date (I believe the dunk came first, but I am glad to be wrong), what I am actually saying, is that the color scheme resembles the BS that nike releases nowadays. It looks cheap, bad materials, and no thought to composition whatsoever. We're arguing aesthetics which are always open to interpretation, but come on, we have to draw the line somewhere. All in all, scrap it, go back to the simple schemes–not necessarily exact retros, but lets get more direct inspiration from them, no?

This colorway will look perfect with my painted on skinny jeans and a Cool Kids cassette tape. This is a joke, right?

anyways, i got my 02 patent red/blk/white still in great condition, this is a no to me~
too much infrared looked weird~ n the eyelet strip all red, make the whole shoe looked like nike Termenator... just a winged jordan sign on it, not worth to drop a bill for it~ passsss

They were hot until i found out the infared was patent leather. Patent leather should be banned. (except for the J XL)
These would look so much better in regular leather, or at least nubuck. Oh well.
