Late last Spring we confirmed that the Air Jordan 1 is set to return in a major way in 2013 with two Air Jordan 1 Hi OGs which includes the White/Red/Black Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi OG and the Black/Royal Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi OG. After getting a first look at the sample of the White/Red/Black Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi OG, we have our first look at a sample pair of the Black/Royal Air Jordan Retro 1 Hi OG. While anything can change from now until the actual release, there are some noteworthy additions and subtractions on the Black/Royal sample. First, the legendary Nike Air hit has been added back to the tongue replacing the customary Jumpman Air hit. Second, the Jumpman Air has also been removed from the heel and it is now bare. Again, anything can change but for Jordan purists, these two modifications will be very well received. Still no word on an exact release date as of now but that will come so stay tuned.
