For years JB has changed the game and like it was said earlier, they are past their prime..... The way the sneaker game is now it will never be the same again ( like the NBA, Rap, etc) For real collectors the retro's are what we made them and real collectors know what I mean (like seeing mike score 55 in shoes that were ahead of there time). As for jordans mike never played in.... they are what they are.....

Jordan Brand is known for their "Outside of the Box" thinking, but these shoes are for Tony Starks aka Iron Man. The removal of the pothole makes this shoe uninspired; Adding the pothole makes most sneakerheads cringe. If they wanted to shed weight then a variation of the flywire should have been interwoven into the shoe. *sigh.

Those big honking windows kill this shoe. If the window was smaller (and could still be somewhat clear with a Jumpan underneath) and had a jumpman on the side, this shoe would be freaking awesome. As it is, the shoe is a must pass. Too bad, too, since there was a good thing going on.

I actually like the overall design and shape of the shoe. I also like the fact that they went with tumbled leather on the toe and heel as oppose to nubuck or patent. I actually don't think the materials look cheap in my opinion. Also for those that are saying the shoe lacks a jumpman, the jumpman symbol is on the tounge of the right shoe (ala the XX3's). With all the positives said, the deal breaker for me is though is that big gaping hole on the side. If they really wanted to implement the whole clear window concept it could have been executed in a much more subtle and aesthetically pleasing way. At least we still have Space Jam's and VI's to look forward to.

I just can't believe how many haters there are. I LOVE these. I love the window. I especially love the shape of the sole. I love the colours and blocking. I love the asymmetrical heel. The silhouette is amazing. This may be the first Jordan I'll buy at release that isn't a retro since the 12s (coming from a non-basketball player, just a fan)

Every great artist, designer or athlete has their prime. That period when a person's ability, passion and creativity come together and it shows in the work. No disrespect to the greats but it looks like hatfield, smith an mj have all seen better days. If Im gonna watch a tape of mj it would be when he was runnin **** in Chicago, I don't wanna see dude play golf or do whatever he be doing now. Same way, if I'm about to cop some jordans I want a design that rflecs those glory days. Not some bs he came up with between bike rides. I'd rather support lebron who's doing it big right now. aside from them looking like garbage, good luck trying to look cool on the court or off with two big yellow windows on your kix because i guarantee once the sun/wind/humidity hits that plastic, thats exactly whats gonna happen. dont believe me, ask somebody who's owned a pair of 5's how long it took for the grates to go from crispy white to piss yellow, and they weren't even see-through like these are so its only gonna be worse...

Liking them. I've seen a bunch of pics today and they have grown on me. Quality material and no boring jumpman logo. Though this colorway may be the least desirable. Lots of possiblities with color-blocking. Looking forward to a close up view in Feb. Welcome back Tinker and Mark. Hopefully, the designer for the 2009 is no longer with JB.

I think every1 is missn the design concept of wut Jordan is doin. Jordan doesn't play ball anymore he rides bikes!! Look at the shoe. It's clearly a rider design. Look at the Jordan XX and look at this. See the similarities?? I think Jordan is clearly in competition with Lebron over the #23 right now that's why he excluded the Jumpman symbol. But this is clearly a motorcycle designed shoe. Personally to me, its looks betta than the 2009! And also if they was gonna go wit the transparent theme, THEY SHOULD'VE MADE THE WHOLE SHOE TRANSPARENT!!! Oh yea, we don't need to see the Carolina Blue on the bottom of the insole!! Kinda tacky!!!

Well in my opinion these are not for casual wer at all unless you live in some rural subarbian town with a population of 20 and have no concept of fashion.

In terms of playing ball in these. If anyone wants to play ball in trash for $170, you can cop the Starbury's $20 for far less. In this recession, saving $150 goes a long way.

As a long time Jordan collector, going on 13 + years now, I am extremely dissapointed yet again. Not to be a hater or be negative but the quality (leather)looks awful. The shoe looks terrible. JB for 170.00 please give us the quality materials u gave us back when. Jordan doesn't need the money so give us what we want. I think its costing u more money to make these terrible models with garbage materials where if u just give us what we want with the quality materials u given us before I think more sneakerheads and future sneakerheads will purchase Jordans.
