Air Jordan 2009 Makes ESPN Top 10 Plays

Last week the Air Jordan 2009 landed the number 9 spot in ESPN's Top Ten Plays of the Day. A first for sneakers, though the sneaker is not really a "play", it's nice to see Money in the Top Ten. Apparently, Josh Elliot of ESPN didn't think so...

Obviously Josh doesn't buy sneakers he kept stressing how they were $230 a pair. He's right though these are not worth $230 or when the price drops to $190 I would pay $100 for them use them to play basketball in.

    was this guy serious?
How much does he pay for his suit? $1,000?, italian made leather shoes.... his watch.... tie probably cost over $100.

I might have more to say if I saw his face, but he needs to stop talking about something he knows nothing about. Its very insulting to popele who dont make 6 figures and live in some south conn suburb. he should be gone from SC quick as he got there.

$230.00 for shoes! Didn't I see a lot of you trippin' about the price too???
And the fact that it was on ESPN's top 10 plays, wow... even when MJ is not playing, he still gets in the news!!!

  7. Backroad says:

$230? I thought they were $190 at all times...not just all star weekend.

i think hes just astounded by just how much Nike is trying to sell these i.m.o ugly *** shoes...Im used to product placement in movies and television shows, but the top ten ESPN highlights..?...really...?...isnt it enough that i have to hear about Nike Sneakers everytime i watch the Lakers or Cavs play...
