Adidas TS Commander Special Edition Kevin Garnett Champion Sneaker

 
In addition to the [Adidas Originals Superstar] homage to the Celtics, Adidas Remix/Performance has created their own commeorative sneaker for the "People's Champion" "KG" Kevin Garnett. Using this year's Big Man's TS model, the Team Signature Creator, Adidas  created the Adidas TS Commander 2008 Champion's sneaker in White, Gold and Green inspired by the Celtics team colors and the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy. The Adidas TS Commander Champion's Sneaker also features a silhouette of Garnett on the side and gold accents, the insole includes dates and scores of each 2008 Finals game along with the 2008 Champions logo, a constant tribute to two of KG's close friends and mentors Malik Sealy and Kirby Puckett, andpersonal touches including embroidery of his fan-given nickname, Champ.
 
17 pairs of the Adidas TS Commander Champion's Sneaker were created and all will be available online via auction at www.celticsstoreseenon.com. All of the proceeds will go to benefit the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation

 
Fans can bid on the 17 autographed pairs at www.celtics.com/shop beginning on opening night, October 28 at 8 pm EST in conjunction with tip-off to raise money for the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, which benefits local children through education and community support programs.
 
KG will be rocking the sneaker on Oct. 28th in the season opener versus the Cavs.
