Never during his illustrious 12 year career has Kevin Garnett been this close to the ever elusive NBA ring. With the NBA Finals set to tip off tomorrow, Kevin Garnett, adidas, and the NBA Cares community have come together to release the "NBA Finals" adidas TS Commander KG. A preview of next year's adidas TS Line, the "NBA Finals" adidas TS Commander KG is specially personalized for KG's shot at the NBA Championship featuring a Black/Green Celtics colorway, KG's profile at the heel, and the NBA Finals logo on the medial side of the sneaker. The sneaker also features tributes to Malik Sealy and Kirby Puckett.
Only eight pairs of the "NBA Finals" TS Commander KG will be produced per game with a max of 56 possible pairs. The sneaker will be sold exclusivlely at the NBA Store in NYC, on Celtics.com, and the TD Banknorth Garden Pro Shop. Retail for the sneakers is set at $1017 with ALL PROCEEDS from the sale of the sneaker going to the NBA Cares community in the Boston area.

Ray's Green XX3 PE's in a limited sale, won't be sold for $185, that just ain't gonna happen.
Love the TS Commander though, but I can never afford $1017(BTW nice touch the 17 at the end), so I hope they'll have a general release that looks a little like this one.
THe same shoe (without the trophy and games written onit) will be released in November. Less than $1K I'm sure!
