adidas is dipping into their vast catalog of retro designs to bring back the adidas Olympia. Originally released back in the 70s, the adidas Olympia, or the Olympiade, was positioned as a training sneaker for the 1972 Munich Olympics. In honor of those Games, the Olympia returns as the Training ’72 and though the name has changed, everything from the original Olympia remains in tact. As part of their unvaulting of the Training ’72, adidas recently released the Brown/Black adidas Training ’72 which features a Brown combo upper of leather and nubuck with a Black Three Stripes hit and the original Olympia branding done in Gold Foil. The upper sits on an Off White sole.
