A Closer Look at the Vote For Gil Adidas GIL II ZERO
Dec 18, 2007 | Comments 2

Following up on our initial "Vote For Gil" post, we take a closer look at the recently released Adidas GIL II ZERO. Inspired by Gilbert's push for the fans to vote him in as NBA MVP, the "Vote For Gil" Adidas GIL II ZERO features several appeals to his fans. Like most of the upcoming Adidas GIL II ZEROs, the "Vote For Gil" utilizes the forefoot strap to broadcast the message of the sneaker, "Vote For" on the right sneaker and "Gilbert" on the left sneaker. The "Vote For" message is embroidered in Gold on Black Nubuck. The"Vote For Gil" features a Metallic Gold on Black Nubuck upper inspired by the spoils and recognition given to the NBA MVP. The lace stabilizers on the "Vote For Gils" read MVP as does the back heel. The Metallic Gold/Black Nubuck upper sits on a Black midsole/sole.
The "Vote For Gil" Adidas GIL II ZERO is available now at select large chain retailers in an amount of 3,000 pairs worldwide.
