Nov 28, 2008 | Comments 9

At 4am on November 28th, a day known around the world as Black Friday, DJ Clark Kent and Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street will officially open their doors to release the Black Friday Nike Air Force 1 Low. Designed by DJ Clark Kent as a luxurious take on the Air Force 1 Low at a Black Friday price, the Black Friday Nike Air Force 1 Low features 75% Black Pony Hair from the toe through the midpanel, 25% Metallic Silver linticular from the Swoosh to the heel all sitting on a "candy paint" midsole.
In the spirit of Black Friday, although the Black Friday Nike Air Force 1 Low features premium materials that rarely appear together on a sneaker, the retail price is set at $150, half the price that the sneaker would normally cost.
The Black Friday Nike Air Force 1 Low is officially set to release on Nov. 28th at 4am at 21 Mercer Street, 10am at Concepts in Boston, and 8pm at Miami's Shoe Gallery. DJCK will be on hand at all the events to sign boxes and hand out Black Friday T-Shirts and the DJCK mixed Black Friday Massacre Mixtape.

average
Black and silver may be average colors but the materials on these AF1's aren't. The pony hair, metallic silver and candy midsole really set this shoe off. Good job DJCK.
No.
They look okay I guess. Odd choice in materials. I would feel like someone would come and pet my shoes because of the pony hair.
basura
horrid. af1's died last yr. nike should wait another 5-10 yrs and try again.
the colorway is fine but the pony hair just kills it for me. the pony hair seems like it'll shed after a while... a buttery soft Italian leather would have been better imho.
Nike has took the average everyday and made the fresh nu future, the materials are beast!
The pony hair will not shed, I have had a pair of Air Rifts in black pony hair for about 5 years. While I do not wear them all that often (the sole has partly detached from the upper in the front), the hair never shed at all. If you really pulled on individual hairs, they would break but not at the root.
