Adidas TS Creator Chauncey Billups Thanksgiving Day Sneakers

While most of us will be recovering from overstuffing ourselves, Chauncey Billups and the Denver Nuggets will be hard at work as they host the New Orleans Hornets on Thanksgiving night. As a member of the Nuggets, Mr. Big Shot is playing back at home since graduating from the University of Denver. On Thanksgiving night, Chauncey will give back to the city that raised him by unveiling a Thanksgiving Day/Denver Adidas TS Creator that will hit the auction block on Nov. 28th.
The Thanksgiving Day/Thanksgiving Adidas TS Creator features a Gold/Black/White colorways inspired by the Univeristy of Colorado with a Metallic Gold upper, Chauncey's initials in the UC font on the lateral ankle, and "Go Buffs" embroidered on the medial ankle.
After Chauncey puts in work in the kix, 11 new pairs will be created for auction on the NBA’s official site, http://auctions.nba.com/. Bidding will start at $100 and will run for one week ending on Thursday, December 4th, 2008. All proceeds will go to the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy, a local Denver non-sports institute providing disadvantaged youth optimal opportunities and resources to achieve academic success.

Sucks that we won't get a shot at them though.
Adidas finally got it right with these and what do they do? Super limited release. Nice one... though i gotta say some of the colors of the TS Creators out there are slammin.
