Nike SB Dunk Mid Dark Knight
Continuing their Superhero/Villain inspired sneaker releases, Nike SB is set to release the Dark Knight Nike SB Dunk Mid. Inspired by the Dark Knight or OG Batman costume (take your pick), the Dark Knight Nike SB Dunk Mid features a Grey leather/suede upper, a Black leather Swoosh, and Yellow accents at the tongue, strap, and ankle.
Nike Air Bound 2 Black Purple
Continuing their retro of the Nike Air Bound 2, Nike recently released the Black Purple Nike Air Bound 2. Simple and clean, the Black Purple Nike Air Bound 2 features a Black nubuck upper and Purple accents at the Swoosh, eyelets and sole.
Tortoise aka Woodgrain WMNS Nike Air Assault High
A couple years back, Nike introduced the woodgrain look to their kix through the Nike Woodgrain pack. A pack that featured an Air Force 1 Low, a Dunk High, and an Air Max 90. Nike is resurrecting that look for their Women's Tortoise pack. Using a similar woodgrain-like material, the WMNS Tortoise Nike Air Assault High was inspired by the shell of a land Turtle. The woodgrain trim takes the place of the Assault's trademark Safari print wrapping itself around the base of the sneaker. The rest of the sneaker features a White upper, a Metallic Gold Swoosh, and Brown accents.
Nike Huarache 09 Tony Parker PE
As we mentioned in our lengthy Nike 2009 Considered footwear post, Nike is set to continue their legendary Basketball Huarache line in 2009 with the Nike Huarache 09 BBall. Unlike any past Nike Huarache, and unlike many of Nike's current Basketball footwear line, the Nike Huarache 09 BBall will adhere to Nike's Considered Design Principles. This means that the Huarache is more environmentally friendly.
Nike Air Force 1 Low Grey Red 2009
New pics of a Grey/Red Nike Air Force 1 Low set to release in 2009 recently hit the Net. Notable for it's material usage, the Grey/Red Nike Air Force 1 Low features several different materials in a progression from the toe all the way to the heel tab. The sneaker starts out with Grey smooth leather at the toe, switched to textures leather in the mid panel, croc embossed leather at the heel, and Nubuck at the heel tab. The Grey textures a accents with a Red Nubuck Swoosh, Red laces, and a Red oustole.
Nike Air Trainer III 2009 Colorways
After a long hiatus from retail, the Nike Air Trainer III is set to return in 2009 in at least three colorways. Made famous by Bo Jackson, the Nike Air Trainer series was Nike's sneaker for all around sport training which was different for Nike at the time as the brand had historically focused on specific sport footwear. In 2009 the Nike Air Trainer III will hit retail in three colorways including a Suns colorway of Black, Purple, and Orange, a Blue, White, and Grey colorway, and a Grey, Black, White, and Red colorway.
Adidas TS Commander Art of War
In addition to the [Art of War Adidas TS Creator] that we posted up earlier this week, Adidas is also set to release an Art of War TS Commander. Like the Creator, the Commander is inspired by the Art of War, an analogy for Basketball in this case, and features a White leather upper with a Silver Diamonds and Triangle print and a Metallic Silver ankle.
The Adidas TS Commander is set to release very soon at select Adidas accounts.
