Air Jordan 1 Low Velcro White Black Red Pics

In 1985, Michael Jordan officially touched down in the league and in the world in his Air Jordan 1s. At the time, the extremely progressive colors of the Air Jordan 1  earned MJ/Nike several fines as the sneaker and Michael each made history that year, a history that is as relevant today as it was 23 years ago. The Air Jordan 1 though simple and not very signature like because of it's similarities to much of Nike's basketball catalog at the time, is still and will always be an iconic piece of footwear.

Over the years though, as performance standards have changed and the streets determine the success of basketball sneakers more than the the actual court, the Air Jordan 1 has been transformed into a lifestyle sneaker with it's mid cut and non-traditional outfit matching colorways. Never so much though, until now. Later this month, Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 Low sans laces. Instead, the Air Jordan 1 Low Velcro, will feature two large velcro straps across the upper to provide closure. Though velcro straps were often considered in the same boat at podiatric shoes, lately, straps have made their way into fashion and several high fashion brands have successfully incorporated this once elderly, or juvenille, system into their footwear.

With the Air Jordan 1 serving as Jordan Brand's lifestyle retro, it was only a matter of time.

This is 2008, not that many people in the age range between 13-35 are going to buy this shoe. I like some of the fusions but this is wrong.

Some of you so-called "Jordan-Heads" are so boring and whiny all you want is the same ol "OG" colors and same ol retros. I applaud Jordan for always taking a step up and giving ppl something new to enjoy to which actually adds to their collection not just re-sell the same shoe they just sold in a pack a year ago but in a low top. Come on, and i cant hate on velcro. I dont always think the stuff is hot but i dont hate. You dont have to like these but you shouldnt be bashing. Plus you know is this was a velcro SB dunk low everyone would say how inovative they are and blah blah blah
