Since the Foamposite triumphantly returned last year with the initial retro of the "Penny" Foam, the legendary Basketball sneaker has come back in Black/Red, Black/Cactus, a Penny HOH exclusive re-retro, and now, Black/Dark Army. The Black/Dark Army Nike Foamposite One features a Black upper, Dark Army accents, a Dark Army embroidered 1 Cent logo, and a Dark Army sole. Unlike the Black/Red and Black/Cactus though, the sole Black/Dark Army Foam is translucent which solves all of the True Foam Heads' biggest complaint about the Black/Red and Black/Cactus.
The Black/Dark Army Nike Foamposite One is set to release this Saturday, August 30th, exclusively at the House of Hoops by Foot Locker in Harlem.

After a disappointing year on the NBA court, Dwyane Wade reasserted himself in Beijing as one of the premier players in the world. His 3-point bucket in the gold-medal game versus Spain with time dwindling in the fourth sealed the deal on the Redeem Team's gold medal.
Following up D-Wade's performance in Beijing and going into the 2008-09 season, Converse is set to release Wade's fourth signature sneaker, the Wade 4. Coincidently inspired by the 4th quarter, the Wade 4 features a number of design cues that symbolize Wade's thought process during crunch time.
For DWade's run at the Olympics, WADE 4 designer Duane Lawrence created a special "United We Rise" version of the WADE 4. The "UWR" WADE 4 features a White leather upper, a UWR reflective trim, a Navy Patent tongue, and Red accents.
We will continue to roll out the details on the Converse WADE 4 as the NBA Season nears.
