Though this tribute year to the Nike Dunk has tailed off a bit since it's initial announcement and the slew of releases earlier this year, with the Olympics and back to school approaching, the Dunk will return in full force. As part of these late Summer Dunk releases, Nike recently released the "Curry Hemp" Nike Zoom Dunk Low. A combination of the classic "Curry" Dunk High and "Hemp" Nike SB Low, the "Curry Hemp" Nike Zoom Dunk Low features a premium Brown leather toebox and Swoosh and a Hemp body. As a Zoom Dunk, the "Curry Hemp" Nike Zoom Dunk Low features Nike's Zoom Air in the heel.

Bringing our coverage of the Nike Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Team USA Basketball "United We Rise" Pack to a close, we take a look at the final performance piece of the UWR pack, the "United We Rise" Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier II. The "UWR" Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier II continues the theme of the "United We Rise" Pack with it's White Leather upper, Navy piping and Red accents. The "UWR" ZLSII features the United We Rise reflective tribal pattern at the toe and heel and the UWR logo is featured on the tongue.
 
Although LeBron has already unveiled a ["United We Rise" Nike Zoom LeBron VI], he is expected to hoop in the "United We Rise" Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier II as well.

The contrast to the "BOE" AJF3, the "BOM" AJF3 features a White Patent upper with Gold contrast stitching, White/Gold elephant print that is extended into the heel tab, Red accents, Metallic Gold laces, and a clear/Gold midsole that exposes the "Best on Mars" text.

Continuing their "Bird's Nest" and "Octagon" Packs of Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics themed sneakers, Nike is set to release the "Beijing 2008" Air Max Collection. The "Beijing 2008" Nike Air Max collection features several styles of Air Max sneakers including the Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Max 95, the Nike Air Max LTD, the Nike Air Max 1, and the Nike Air Max BW. Most of the sneakers within the collection take inspiration from the Beijing National Stadium, aka the "Bird's Nest, with the Air Max 1 taking it's inspiration for the eight sided octagon figure.
 
The "Beijing 2008" Nike Air Max collection is set to release on 8/8/08 at select Foot Locker stores.

As part of this pack Jordan Brand released the "Best on Earth" and "Best on Mars" Air Jordan Fusion 3s. The "Best on Earth" Air Jordan Fusion 3 features a Black Patent Leather upper, Gold contrast stitching, and Red accents. After what undoubtedly seems like a lifetime's wait for most Jordan heads, the legendary, Jordan of all Jordans, the "Black/Cement" Air Jordan III is set to be retroed once again as part of the Air Jordan 3/2o Countdown Package. Tinker Hatfield's first date with the Jordan Line and with destiny, the Air Jordan III saved the Air Jordan line, kept MJ with Nike, and in effect, created sneaker culture as we know it. In addition to the infamous elephant print, and among several other design attributes to debut on the Air Jordan III, none was perhaps more important than the Jumpman, a logo that has now become one of the most recognizable logos in the world.
 
The "Black/Cement" Air Jordan Retro III CDP features what you would come to expect from the sneaker. A Black textured leather upper, Elephant print at the toe and heel, a Grey tongue with a Red embroidered Jumpman, a White midsole, Red eyelets, a Grey eyestay, and of course as expected from a retro, the "Jumpman Air" logo on the heel.
