Constantine, you're pretty ignorant! I copped the originals, in the winter of 98-99 (whenever the black ones released) and I wore them that following summer as well... and hooped in them, OUTSIDE!!

There's no such thing as a "Summer/Winter Basketball Shoe." That's the stupidest **** I've ever read.

And Rick Kang, you're right. I first hooped in my all black ones outside and got a ugly scuff on them! I was sad as hell! lol I damn near ran through the soles on them as well. There was a black top court I'd play ball at as well and it damn near put holes in my soles.

These are great to play in. The only thing to watch with them is the sole wears out in the forefoot....although that could just be me.lol
Great joints though!
