Nike Flightposite 1 Retro Eggplant First Actual Detailed Look
In addition to the upcoming ["Gold" Nike Flightposite 1 Retro] and the already released ["Black" Nike Flightposite 1 Retro], Nike is set to retro the legendary "Eggplant" Nike Flightposite 1 as well. A certified original Nike Alpha Project, the "Eggplant" Nike Flightposite 1 Retro remains very faithful to the OG with it's Eggplant Foamposite upper, Silver midfoot plate, Black outsole, and Black zipper.
The "Eggplant" Nike Flightposite is scheduled to release during October 2008 at select Nike accounts and select Foot Locker stores.

Great design, but does anyone know if this is a good shoe to play in? I have a pair of Flightposite III's and while the cushioning is great, they provide very little ankle support...

And Rick Kang, you're right. I first hooped in my all black ones outside and got a ugly scuff on them! I was sad as hell! lol I damn near ran through the soles on them as well. There was a black top court I'd play ball at as well and it damn near put holes in my soles.
