Though the Summer has yet to officially begin, it has been blazing out in NYC with temperatures approaching 100. The warm weather that this time of year brings means one thing to many people, outdoor Ball. Outdoor Basketball in NYC has throughout time served a a proving ground for local talent and the NBA's elite. It can be said that you aren't anything unless you rock on an NYC court. There are several NYC courts that have become legendary over the years, including Dykman and West 4th. Located on opposite sides of NYC, these courts have become battlegrounds, hosting NYC's elite players.
To pay homage to the history of Dykman and West 4th, Nike recently released the "Summer Hear/NYC Parks Pack" exclusively at the House of Hoops by Foot Locker. The "Summer Heat/NYC Parks" Pack features two Nike Huarache 08s in colorways inspired by the park that they represent. The "West 4th" Nike Huarache 08 features Black/Orange/Blue/White upper and the "Dykman" Nike Huarache 08 features a Cement/Black/Red colorway.
