Nike Kevin Durant 1 New Pics
After a breakout rookie season, an NBA Rookie of the Year winning season, Kevin Durant is scheduled to receive his first signature sneaker for the 2008/2009 NBA Season, the Nike Kevin Durant 1. Though technical details such as weight, technology, etc. are still forthcoming, aesthetically the KD1 appears to fall in line with Nike's Zoom line of sneakers tailored for the faster and more aggressive players like the Zoom BB line. The upper features a very minimalistic almost seamless construction that sits on a low profile midsole and what appears to be a Nike FREE-like outsole.We will continue to track the Nike Kevin Durant 1 as more details unfold.

cmon..where's the sonics cw? sort of remind me of a scaled down version of the kobe 2, lite edition. very basic and clean. Not too many panels for any crazy color ups. really hope they insert zoom tech in the soles (every nike bball shoe needs it).

as rod said he is right on it..a poor man's zkII lite....easy pass...i like durant dont get me wrong but he has to earn a sig shoe and i do not think nike should just be giving sig shoes to everyone in the rotation..kinda getting like the mid '90's when everyone and their grandmother had a sig shoe!

Shoe looks aight. Almost reminded me of an And1 sneaker the way the sole curls up at the toe end. Pretty clean, will probably be very basic colorways. I can think of some names that should be getting a sig shoe before Durant.

He wanted his shoes to be under 70 bucks? well he got them. They honestly don't look too bad. They have a 2k8 look to them. They look better than most shoes adidas or reebok are producing.

WOW!!! I was thinking the same thing as Rod? they look just like the Nike Zoom Kobe II Lite's? wich NEVER DROPPED??? HHUUMMM!!!
