Candace Parker Signs with Adidas
One of the most exciting Women's College Basketball Players in recent history, Candace Parker, has officially joined the Adidas Basketball family. Set to touchdown in the WNBA next season, Parker lead the Tennessee Lady Vols to their second straight National Championship hours before she was selected number 1 overall in the WNBA draft by the LA Sparks. As part of a multi-year partnership with Adidas, Parker and Adidas are working together on three initial footwear designs including a:
* LA Sparks based silhouette
* Olympics based silhouette
* REMIX / trend collection silhouette
According to Parker, "After meeting with the team at adidas and hearing about their future direction, I was extremely excited about continuing to be part of the adidas family. There were a number of companies looking to partner with me, but adidas’ commitment to the game of basketball, their WNBA partnership, their future direction and how I could be an extensive part of that made me feel like this was the perfect fit for my future."

She's a dumb ***. Sorry, I love Candace, but seriously, if she's having hopes and dreams of trying to carry Adidas, like say a Jordan with Nike or how LeBron, Kobe, etc. are now... CANCEL IT! Most will say "I commend her for not signing with Nike and doing her own thing with Adidas," you're idiots as well.
- Just think, Candace could've EVEN decided to be a Jordan Brand athlete and the first FEMALE ATHLETE to have her own Jordan shoe... I guess she didn't see the big picture, coming from an Adidas school like Tennessee.
