With selection Sunday approaching at the end of this week, the NCAA tournament and March Madness is about to officially begin. Like the All-Star Game and the Play-Offs in the NBA for the pro level, the NCAA Tournament serves as a national showcase for sneaker brands. With so much attention and with games nationally televised throughout the day, the NCAA tournament serves as an opportunity to unveil new sneakers/colorways and a way to display a brand's strength at the college level.

With this in mind, Jordan Brand is set to release the "Braggin Right" Pack of Air Jordan Retro XV SEs. As part of this pack, Jordan Brand is set to release the "Georgetown Hoyas" Air Jordan Reto XV SE. The "Hoyas" Air Jordan Retro XV SE features a Metallic Silver Patent Leather/Woven upper and Georgetown's trademark Kente pattern on the trim.

The "Hoyas" Air Jordan Retro XV SE from the Jordan Brand Bragging Rights Pack is set to release on April 12th as a limited release.

    KICKZyes says:

Everyone who thinks these are "ugly" are pretty stupid and don't see that these aren't meant to be appealing to those in a fashion sense as something to wear and be "cool" and "flashy"...

They're made for "looking good" while hooping and on the court purposes ONLY! And I think they look hot with the G'town uni's and anyone else that can't see that, wake up and get some glasses, Mr. Magoo assed people.

Jordan Brand/Nike will ALWAYS & FOREVER be trend setting to the world of athletic sneakers.

not crazy 'bout the SE,but I do like this G'Town colorway,I thought that print was the craziest I'd ever seen on college uni's,I'm glad to see they put a lil' tradition into the shoe, would like to see a navy based' version

    Rick Kang says:

This Hoya-flavored colorway/player edition is insane --- reminds me of AI throwing down with two hands on Camby during the '96 tourney (Elite 8 game).

For all those fans of the Iverson-era G'town, these bring back sweet memories of the African kinte-pattern down the sides of their jerseys and shorts --- somewhat similar to the "Peace" pattern from the Air Raid IIs (and featured on this summer's "Peace" pack).

I bought two pairs of XVs backintheday --- which I truly do regret --- but these G'town editions are super-sweet. But for all XV haters, I can understand --- likely the worse Jordan in recent memory...
