Feb 13, 2008 | Comments 6

As part of their company wide goal to move towards producing 100% Nike Considered footwear, Nike and All-Star Guard Steve Nash have linked up to create the Nike Trash Talk, the first Nike performance basketball sneaker made from manufacturing waste. Modeled after the Nike Zoom BB II, the Nike Trash Talk meets Nike's Considered Guidelines by having:
-The upper is pieced together from leather and synthetic leather waste from the factory floor using zig-zag stitching.
-The mid-sole use scrap-ground foam from factory production
-The outsole use environmentally-preferred rubber that reduces toxics and incorporates Nike Grind* material from footwear outsole manufacturing waste.
-The Phoenix Suns’ colorways have shoe laces and sockliners which use environmentally-preferred materials and will be packaged in a fully recycled cardboard shoe box.
Steve Nash is set to debut the Nike Trash Talk during tomorrow's game versus the Dallas Mavericks and he will wear the "All-Star" colorway this NBA All-Star game this weekend in New Orleans.
The "All-Star" Nike Trash Talk is available now at the House of Hoops in NYC and the House of Hoops Pop Up Shop in New Orleans during All-Star Weekend. The "Phoenix" Nike Trash Talk is set to release on April 22nd at the House of Hoops.

Hi everyone happy holiday season to everyone.
I have a question to anyone who might be able to help. My son is 17 and 4mths ago he was working at his after school job when someone robbed the store and shot my son. I'm happy to report that he's doing much better now.But those monsters stole the sneakers right off his feet as he was on the floor bleeding out.I would love to replace those sneakers he worked so hard for them. They would make a awesome christmas present. What i'm looking for is a pair of Steve Nash high tops, White Red And a bit of blue on them i remember they had that nice thread going thru the shoe. Please if anyone knows what the modle # of these shoes are or the name of them If any one knows where i can buy them that would be so so good.I'm willing to $200. for them please contact me at ashleyhill902@yahoo.ca
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
