After working with Mark Jacobs for several seasons, Vans recently linked up with high fashion design legend Paul Smith to apply his "Classic with a Twist" sensibility to several Vans silhouettes. The first of several planned Paul Smith x Vans sneakers, the Paul Smith x Vans sk8 hi, have begun to hit select Vans accounts. Using his trademark syncopated multi-colored stripes, Smith applied the vertical pattern onto the sides and toe box of a Black suede Vans sk8 hi.
