Jordan Chris Paul CP3

Jordan CP3

In only two complete years in the NBA, Chris Paul has shown that he has more than what it takes to compete in the ultra talented Point Guard-rich (Tony Parker, Steve Nash, Deron Williams, Baron Davis, etc.) NBA Western Division. His speed, court intelligence, scoring ability, and unselfishness have helped propel the unlikely Hornets to a 23-11 record. After averaging nearly a double/double in his first two seasons of play, CP3 is averaging over 21 points and over 10 assists a game in 2008, and, may be looking at a well deserved All-Star nod this year.

His on the court play, and his on and off the court attitude have earned Chris Paul a spot on the Jordan Brand Team AND his own Jordan signature sneaker, the Jordan CP3. Set to release in March, the CP3 in inspired by the New Orleans Mardi Gras Indians (home of the Hornets) with personal design characteristics that include his 61 point tribute and his love for bowling.

The Jordan CP3 will retail for $115

Could have done a better job on the Lacing forefront.
These kiX are supposed to be nearly 13.7 - 14.4oz
s only..so they are supposed light.
The gripping seems decent, but the white plaid area where the grip is seems like It can wear out quick. I like the idea of the air bubblle, but def. not intertwined with the ZOOM AIR tech. used on the other TEAM J sneakers., Love the intergration of the Leather mix/ Nubuck right @ the ankle. Let's just hope it prevents ankle shaffering/shifting movement in shoe.

"61xty" represents the age of his grandfather when murdered @ his own gas station. cp was in high school @ the time. his next game back he scored 61 points in memory of grandpa & missed the 62nd point freethrow on purpose. its like a fairytale lol
