Yankees Nike Zoom LeBron V

Yankees Nike Zoom LeBron V

Though Nike has released the historically highly coveted "SVSM" colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron V and is set to release the "Dunkman" colorway as well, unlike the the Nike Zoom LeBron IV's "Fruity Pebbles" colorway, Nike has played it relatively safe with Nike Zoom LeBron V. Until now that is.

New pics of the "Yankees" Nike Zoom LeBron V recently hit the Net. Performance basketball sneakers often take inspiration from a number of things, but rarely is a Performance Basketball sneaker inspired by Baseball. The "Yankees" Nike Zoom LeBron V is inspired by the New York Yankees, the most storied franchise in Sports history. The "Yankees" Nike Zoom LeBron V features a Navy Wool upper with White pinstripes, a White/Navy Patent toe, and a White Patent heel. The tongue on the the "Yankees" V features a Baseball diamond with Jame's number 23 on it and the saying under the strap reads "Fresh for '08. Suckers!".

As of the time of this post, a release date for the "Yankees" Nike Zoom LeBron V has not been confirmed. Should one become available, it will be posted.

^seriously. wtf..Lebron is from Ohio. He got criticized last yr for rocking a yanks hat during the clev/ny series and now he follows up by doing colorway. nice, but very bold move.

cleveland fans already know that lebron is a yankees fan. he did wear a yankees hat in jacobs field during the indians-yankees playoff game.

no matter what he does, they will still love him.

    JEANNE MURRAY says:

We love LeBron here in Cleveland. The Yankees cap was overblown out of proportion. He is still our home town star of the NBA. He continues to perform avbove and beyond any player in the NBA. The question I have is "Why aren't these shoes being sold in Cleveland where it belongs!!! We fans would love to get our hands on these and now the only way we can is to pay a substantial premium $1000+ on line and even try to get them.Cmon Nike-do the right thing
