Coming off of his breakout 2007 season, Gilbert Arenas was selected at EA Sports' NBA Live 2008 cover athlete. A devout gamer himself, Arenas and Adidas recently hooked back up with EA Sports to design the "Cover Boy" EA Sports x Adidas GIL II ZERO. Playing on his appearance on the cover of the game case, the "Cover Boy" Adidas GIL II ZERO features the words "Cover Boy" embroidered in Black on the on the White leather forefoot strap. The Grey/Neon Red/Black/Blue/White colorway of the "Cover Boy" GIIZs is inspired by the the NBA Live 2008 Logo/Cover Art. To add some pop to the "Cover Boys", the sneaker features a Patent hit at the toe and a glossy Black midsole. To tie the package together, the "Cover Boys" all feature the "NBA Live 2008/EA Sports" logo at the outer lateral heel.
