In a very short time, the collection belonging to the "Twins", to Twin brothers from LA, has reached an almost mythical status. After winning the Sole Collector National Championship in Las Vegas, the Twins firmly cemented their position in sneaker collection competitions. On our trip out West to the DunkxChange, we were able to get a glimpse of the Twins Collection. Although only a small piece of the collection made it to the DunkxChange, the Twins Table held Eminem IVs, FLOMS, Stash Dunk Lows, Space Jam 45 XIs, Kanye West Air Max 180s, Playstation Air Force 1s, several Kobe and LeBron PEs, and several unreleased Air Jordan Samples.

Although we have shown these from a distance a number of times now, new and more detailed pix of the Air Jordan Retro III "Cool Greys" have hit the Net. Tentatively scheduled for a March L'Style release, these "Cool Grey" III pix show a pretty drastic improvement in the Elephant Print quality from earlier samples that we had posted a while back.

New pix of the, soon to be released, Nike SB Dunk Low "Tokyo Taxi 2" recently surfaced on the Net. Continuing their "Taxi Series" after releasing the "NYC Taxi" Team Edition SB, the "Tokyo Taxi 2" SBs were designed to resemble Taxis in Tokyo.

With its large wooden wall of kix, Proper brings a wide assortment of kix to the LBC. In addition to the expected stock, Nike QS and limited, Reebok, Adidas, Vans, Converse and New Balance, Proper also stocks the classic favorite Asics, as well as, the new favorite Jordan Lifestyle. With a very minimal approach to design, a large bare floor, a large sneaker wall and a large mural wall, Proper keeps the focus on the product allowing the consumer to immerse themselves in a Great Wall of Sneakers. On our trip to So. Cal, we stopped in to visit Proper and get a glimpse into the  Sneaker Culture in the LBC.

Earlier this month KATC attended to the "ATIENZA" Exhibit, held at the new School Lounge [MAP], an exhibit dedicated to showcasing the "Sneaker (Art)Works" of Jayson Atienza. Unlike like many others that utilize sneakers as a base for customization, ATIENZA projects his passion for sneakers by utilizing the footwear as both a canvas for his trademark texture and as a subject to stylistically recreate on canvas through his trademark texture. When not working by day as an Art Director at advertising giant BBDO, ATIENZA spends time perfecting his craft and collecting sneakers.

To commemorate the opening of Edison Chen's new shop A.C.U., Edison Chen of CLOT and A.C.U has come together with Nike to design an Air Footscape Woven. At this point, the CLOT A.C.U x Nike Air Footscape Woven is only set to release to select friends and family. Last night, KATC caught up with jeffstaple who happened to be sporting his pair of CLOT A.C.U's.

Very similar to the previously released co.jp "Stillwaters", Nike is set to release a Dunk Low featuring the same tonal Blue colorway with added Gold details including a Gold Tongue and Toebox. The Nike Dunk Low "Gold Stillwater" is scheduled to release early 2007.
