In addition to the winterized Nike Air Max 1 FB Mid that we looked at yesterday, Nike has colorways of the classic Nike Air Max 1 on deck which includes the upcoming “Obsidian” colorway. Going with a tonal blue colorway of the late 80s classic running sneaker, the “Obsidian” Air Max 1 FB features a mix of leather, mesh, and nubuck on the upper done in Light Photo Blue and Obsidian with hits of Red sitting on an Obsidian sole. Moe’s Sneaker Spot Queens Day Event Recap

Moes’ Sneaker Spot, longtime purveyors of exclusive sneakers and apparel in Queens, celebrated the grand opening of their new Forest Hills location (110-50 Queens Blvd) over the weekend with their “Queens Day” event. Dedicated to Queens culture, the Queens Day featured food from Queens staples Dani’s Pizza and the Lemon Ice King of Corona with official Queens Hip-Hop representatives World’s Fair with Remy Banks and Action Bronson stopping by to celebrate with the crowd. Music was provided by DJ’ Mickey Hexx and DJ Bobby Trends. The event brought out many local sneakerheads who were treated to good food, good music, and of course, sneakers and gear that included the Nike Kobe Prelude Pack, several pairs of Air Jordan Retros, and new offerings from New Balance, adidas, BBC, and much more. Nike Air Max 1 FB Black Neo Turquoise

Adding to the Nike Air Max 1 FB “Flat Pewter” that we looked at this morning, Nike is also set to release the sneaker turned boot in “Black/Neo Turquoise”. While there isn’t much to speak of from a color standpoint on the upper, there is a material story to speak of as the sneaker features a mix of mesh, leather, and running suede on the Black upper with a Neo Turquoise trim.
